Is work-life balance important to you? This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work from home an average 2-3 days a week, with regular time in a supportive, friendly team and lovely spacious office. You’ll be joining a collaborative environment with great induction and ongoing support.
You’ll be supporting people referred through NHS Talking Therapies. These referrals will be individuals looking for guidance with employment, whether they’re in work and struggling or currently out of work and aiming to return.
What does the role involve?
- Managing a caseload of around 35–40 clients
- Delivering roughly four one-to-one sessions per day (via phone/Teams or in person)
- Helping clients across seven structured sessions: the first is an assessment, followed by tailored support based on their goals
- Supporting people with practical steps like returning to work, speaking with their employer about adjustments, or finding more suitable employment
- Around 50% of your clients may already be in work — this is not a “get them a job at all costs” role, but one focused on sustainable outcomes aligned to mental wellbeing.
Weekly rhythm:
- 1 day per week at the Leighton Buzzard office.
- 1 day per week at the St Neots office
- Around 2-3 days working from home (mostly Teams-based one-to-ones)
- Stakeholder meetings online every 1–2 weeks (Local Job Centres and Toddington which could be weekly / fortnightly.
- Team away days every quarter (around 40 team members together for connection and CPD)

People from a variety of backgrounds thrive here, employment advisors, mental health support workers, HR professionals, ex-police, or probation officers, even recruiters. What they have in common is experience supporting people 1:1 to achieve personal or professional goals.
