Recruitment Consultant – no sales Permanent

Are you a recruiter or talent acquisition professional who loves working with people — but wants to step away from business development and agency fees?

We’re supporting a leading social enterprise to launch a new site in Stoke, delivering a government-funded DWP back-to-work programme. You’ll be joining a supportive team of 10–15 colleagues, all focused on one thing: helping people overcome challenges and get back into meaningful, sustainable work.

A day in the life:

• Meeting with your caseload (around 70 participants at a time) to check progress and set goals.
• Helping with CVs, interview prep, and applications.
• Coordinating vacancies with local employers and matching participants to the right opportunities.
• Referring people to additional support, from self-employment advice to confidence building.
• Tackling practical barriers, like arranging transport to interviews or sourcing funded clothing and bikes.

About you: We’d love to hear from people who:

• Have recruitment, resourcing, talent acquisition, or in-house experience, and want to focus on people over sales.
• Are target-driven and organised — you’ll need to balance empathy with achieving results.
• Want a role where no two days are the same, and problem-solving is part of the job.
