Love sales and building relationships, but fancy doing something that makes a real difference?
We’re recruiting a Business Development Executive (Employer Liaison Consultant) to join a charity delivering an exciting government-funded programme helping young people take their first steps into employment.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone from B2B sales, recruitment or business development who wants to use their commercial skills for something more meaningful.
What’s the opportunity? The programme offers employers the chance to provide young people with paid work placements, with the government funding their wages for 25 hours per week for six months.
Your job is to get businesses involved!
You’ll be approaching local employers, building relationships and encouraging businesses to give young people a chance.
It’s business development, but instead of selling a product, you’re helping create opportunities that could genuinely change someone’s life.
What you’ll be doing
What we’re looking for
No charity or employability sector experience required…We’re particularly keen to hear from people looking to move from commercial sales into a role with a genuine social purpose.
Working arrangementsHybrid working, combining office-based activity with employer visits. You’ll need to be flexible, particularly during the initial stages of the programme.
This is initially an 18-month contract, linked to programme funding, with potential for extension.
Interested? Please apply through this advert – we aim to respond to everyone.
If you haven’t heard back within 72 hours, please complete the “Send Us A Message” form on the Contact Us page of the Red 5 People website, and we guarantee a real person will respond.
For more details, please call our office and ask for James (number available on our website).
