You will be writing bids and tenders for a charity which delivers grass roots projects helping to improve communities. Think community tree planting projects, creating allotment schemes at train stations or refugee support projects. This is a great opportunity for someone with a grants / bid writing background, but who wants to work on really interesting projects. Or a recent graduate with an aptitude for writing and a passion for community development or the environment.
You will be working in their Waterloo office, as a part of a really supportive, fun / vibrant team. Research will be a key part of your role, as you map out local funding opportunities to the team and assess if they fit the charities aims and are feasible to deliver. You will get involved in writing high quality tenders typically aimed at trusts, big lottery funding or the local authority. You will oversee a portfolio of projects and helping the team to get bids over the line and be a problem solver to meet team targets.
Ideally you will have some experience of writing bids or tendering for opportunities. Alternatively, if you are a graduate and can demonstrate you have a skill for writing and a passion for regeneration, this might be a good fit.
