
We are looking for a committed and engaging Cadets Programme Tutor to deliver accredited learning to young people undertaking Cadets study programmes, including Duke of Edinburgh and additional Health and Fitness qualifications. This role is based in HMYOI Feltham.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality teaching across a range of courses, supporting learner progress and achievement, and ensuring learning is delivered to a Good or Outstanding Ofsted standard. You will develop young people-centred teaching, learning and assessment strategies which contribute to increased retention, achievement, and progression of the young people we support.
You will also be required to follow all processes relating to qualifications and examinations, including registration and submissions to validating bodies.
Working pattern:
Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday (8:00 to 16:45) and Wednesday (8:00 to 13:30)
Week 2: Monday to Thursday (8:00 to 16:45) and Friday (8:00 to 13:30)
