Summary

To engage with suitable businesses throughout the region to promote the services of this award-winning provider of education and employment services.

Operating as a desk-based Sales and Account Manager, engaging with businesses UK wide to develop interest and ultimately secure new work experience placements, apprenticeships, and employment opportunities for participants of a range of employment-related training programmes.

Key Responsibilities

• Realising the business’s employer engagement strategy a range of services to new employers for all areas of employer-led provision in the business.
• Engaging with colleagues across the business to utilise local employer networks, to support the delivery of employment, work experience, and Apprenticeship targets.
• Producing regular reports for the Head of Employer Engagement providing a summary of employer engagement including the number of new employers, partnerships established, and reporting against agreed KPIs.
• Generating and managing a strong prospect pipeline: identifying, developing, and securing employer partnerships with substantial long-term potential. Rapidly developing effective relationships with key employers, developing new business leads, and identifying opportunities for effective promotion of all Programmes.
• Meet monthly KPIs for both business engagement and income generation.
• Be in regular contact with your allocated accounts, ensuring contact & visibility on a regular basis and to encourage wider sales opportunities, and provide information & advice to employers on the funded offers provided by the company.
• Utilising marketing materials and business resources provided to ensure compelling communications when engaging new employers and build close working relationships with various stakeholders, internally & externally

Required Skills / Experience

• Experience in identifying and bringing in new relationships/business with an evidenced track record of converting employer engagement into business growth.
• Industry-specific experience in engaging with business, to deliver job outcomes, work placements or Apprenticeship Standards.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to adapt to a variety of business opportunities.
• A sales-focused mindset, with an ethical approach to new business development.
• Knowledge and first-hand experience of effective use of client relationship management databases.
• Experience of working to, and successfully achieving, revenue and sales targets.
• Previous experience working within the apprenticeship & training industry, ideally from within a training provider.  Sound knowledge of apprenticeships, standards, and Levy

Base salary £23k with On Target Earnings to £30k
