Employment Advisor Permanent

Want to help people with primary care needs issues get back into work (physical or mental health)?

We’re looking for an Employment Advisor to deliver an IPS (Individual Placement & Support) project across Oldham and Rochdale. You’ll manage a small caseload of 25 clients, supporting them into sustainable jobs.

You’ll be mainly outreach based – working in the community with a partner clinical services, plus local hubs like JCPs, with an office base in Tameside. Full IPS training provided.

About you:

Experience supporting vulnerable people to achieve goals.  Background in employment support, recruitment, or health & social care.

You might have worked as: Employment Advisor, Employment Coach, IPS Employment Specialist, Job Coach, Careers Advisor, Vocational Support Worker, Keyworker, Case Manager, Support Worker (drug & alcohol/mental health), Resettlement Worker, or Recruitment Consultant.
