This is a cutting-edge contract, and the big aim is to stop re-offending. Together with their supply chain partners, you will provide specialist support to ensure that people do not re-offend (the re-offending rates in the UK are around 70%) by ensuring that they have a stable progressive release, with support around housing, family re-integration, drug and alcohol support (delivered by partner providers) and employment support (delivered by yourself).
You will work with a caseload of around 40-60, providing one to one support. You need to be confident, and adaptable to challenging situations. There are a range of targets to work to, such as job starts, short courses, work experience, vocational training or general support measures – so you need to be goal oriented, target motivated, and able to manage your own diary well.
Please note that you will be covering Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells.
