This is a rewarding role helping service-users with mental health support needs get back into employment.
You will be working for an established charity who has won awards for being a great place to work (investors in people). They pride themselves in supporting and looking after their staff.
Locations
We have 2 x roles available:
2. Surrey Heath & Farnham – Head office is Chertsey.
You are expected to be based at your head office at least 1 x a week to meet with your team (all mileage can be claimed from the head office and 70% – 80% of your role will be working in the community)
Please note: You MUST have access to your own vehicle.
The role
The clients you are working with will have a mental health support need.
They might currently be working (so need guidance and support to maintain their current employment or explore new career options). Or they will not be working at present but are now ready to return to work and need your support.
You will hold regular one to ones with your customers where you will provide support around job searching, CV writing and interview preparation.
To apply, you must have experience of supporting people with mental health support needs in some capacity. You might be a recent graduate with a relevant degree (such as psychology) looking to get your first step on the career ladder. You might have previously worked as a recovery worker, hostel worker, recruitment consultant, HR, employment advisor, job coach, work coach or residential support worker.
Salary
* The salary progression is authorised once a 6 – month probation has been completed, passed, and all requirements met by the employee. This is also subject to the hiring manager’s discretion as long as they are happy and satisfied with employee performance, etc…
