The role

This is a specialist role based at HMP Ford (Category D prison)

The goal is to help offenders reintegrate back into society prior to release. These covers areas such as employment, training, education, life skills, and resettlement.

Targets

You will have a caseload of up to 60 and one of your main targets are to enrol at least 12-13 participants monthly into the program, so networking and building rapport are very important.

You must have good IT skills (Microsoft 365) and also be comfortable with paperwork/admin duties – these are very important parts of the role!

To apply

You ideally have experience in the HMPPS sector i.e., as a Prison Officer, Probation Officer… Or ideally have experience in the Employability and Training sector i.e. as an Employment Advisor, Employment Tutor.
