Are you an experienced English / ESOL teacher?
Are you qualified CELTA OR TEFL LEvel 5?
Do you have an Assessor qualification (A1, CAVA, TAQA)?
This is a great role for anybody who is able to answer “YES” to the above questions.
In a nutshell, you will be teaching people to become qualified ESOL teachers.
Your learners will in some way attached to community groups, religious groups, schools, colleges etc. They might already be teaching English but without the required qualifications and potentially without the necessary level of competence.
Working predominantly from home, delivering online training workshops via MS Teams or Zoom. There may be some London travel involved and some face-to-face delivery but this will be dependent on the needs of the organisation they work/volunteer for.
To recap – you must be experienced in teaching ESOL and you must of course be qualified. You also need to have an Assessor award so that you have an understanding of how to support learners to work to deadlines and achieve success.
