Would you like to work part time on a brand-new contract, with a national charity?
You will be joining a national charity with a proven track record for looking after their staff (30 days off, plus bank holidays and employee support programmes). This is an amazing role, supporting ex-offenders to reintegrate with their families and loved ones.
This will be out in the local activity hub based in Peterborough, where you will work with a caseload of ex-offenders to provide support around trust and relationship building. It’s a brand new contract at a really nice modern community hub.
This will also involve a combination of coaching and mentoring ex-offenders on a one-to-one basis, as well as small group work sessions, with the aim being to help them re-integrate, and build back relationships with family members, or as a parent. There will be lots of support to help you in this role.
People who might be interested in this role, may have previously or are currently working as a support worker, social worker, counsellor, or family support officer. If you have relevant volunteer experience this would also be good.
This is also a great opportunity for criminology/ psychology graduates who are keen on starting their career within the criminal justice sector.
If you feel this might be something of interest to you, please contact Mariam (contact details on our Red 5 People website)
