Some learners need more than teaching. They need someone looking out for their welfare. That’s where you come in.
This Welfare Officer role is about making sure young people on Supported Internships get the pastoral support they need to stay on track. You’ll work with delivery staff, families, and learners themselves – spotting issues early, offering guidance, and making sure “at risk” learners don’t slip through the cracks.

Training in mental health first aid or safeguarding would be useful, but not essential.
This is a 6–9 month fixed term contract, full time, based in Birmingham.
