Are you passionate about mental health? Would you like to join a charity that has won awards for how it develops its people? You will work as part of a team to deliver a support service to people with complex mental health support needs.
The service supports people who have been released from hospital, and provides care accommodation for up to 2 years until they become independent. You will support a wider group of 30 at the project. Helping them to engage in the community. Access community services, as well as work and education opportunities. With a big focus on supporting them to become independent and to recover. You will also have a small caseload of 2 clients who you will key work. Delivering a risk assessment and setting up a support plan.
This role is 37.5 hours per week. And a rota system is in place which includes 2 weekends off a month. Shift patterns are 7.30am – 3.30 pm / 2pm – 10.00 pm. And there will be 1 or 2 waking nights per month (10pm – 8.30am) at an additional £15 per waking night. And one sleeping shift where you sleep at the project on call (an extra £78.30 for the night).
Please note: the basic salary is £19,443 plus an additional £78 for sleep-ins, and £15 per waking night shift
To apply for this role, you must have experience of working with people with mental health support needs. People who have previously worked as a Support Worker, Key Worker, Project Worker, Mental Health Support Worker, Employment Advisor, Supported Housing Officer, would be a good match.
This is also a good opportunity for Psychology, and Health and Social Care university graduates with relevant work experience.
