You will be joining a large charity with lots of progression opportunities to develop your career. They support people who are at a disadvantage to get back into employment.
You will be a part of their IPS Employment Support team helping people with mental health support needs across Birmingham and the West Midlands.
IPS experience is not essential (they can train you on this), but you must have worked with people with mental health support needs, and have some experience of helping them get back into work. At the moment, everyone is home based. But as things go back to normal, you will likely spend a day at home a week, and then 4 days around the local area meeting job seekers in NHS locations. Referrals will come from secondary care mental health clinical teams.
Typically you will have a caseload of around 20 clients. With the aim being to create an assessment, set up an action plan, and help them move towards employment through job search, CV writing, creating app forms and preparing for interviews.
You will be targeted to help 2 people into employment a month, and help 2 people sustain employment.
To apply, you ideally have an established experience within the Employability/Employment Support Sector i.e. as an Employment Advisor, Employment Consultant, Job Coach.
But this will be also be a good fit for Recruitment Consultants who wants to move away from hard sales.
