Would you like to help ex-offenders get back into employment? How about joining a massive charity with lots of development options and career paths to take (this role is due to an internal promotion).
Mostly home based to start with for 3 days a week, and then 2 days working out of Exeter probation trust (this will likely move to probation based when things return to normal). You will work with a caseload of ex-offenders who are job ready to help them find a career. ‘Job ready’ means they are in a good place to return to work and are keen to get started.
Your role will be to liaise with employers who are already registered with the charity and want to recruit ex-offenders. You will be coordinating the process for them. You will be great at developing and growing relationships and really organised. And you won’t mind a tiny bit of business development. When we say tiny, we mean 1 conversation / outbound email a week to a new employer to talk about the service (just to keep new business options ticking over in the background).
Please apply via this advert. Or, if you want to call us…. just call us. Maybe you want to find out more before applying? Or maybe you have applied and have not heard back as yet (the number is on the Red 5 People website, just ask for James).
We need people who have experience of account management, new business or a genuine interest in criminal justice. People who might be interested could be someone who is a criminology graduates, recruitment consultant, account manager, employment advisor, or employer engagement consultant.
