You will work for an established organisation renowned for their specialism in supporting people with complex mental health support needs.
The service supports people who have been released from hospital, and provides care accommodation for up to 2 years until they become independent.
You will supervising a team of 7-8 staff members and will be responsible for monitoring and promoting best practice.
You will be expected to key work with a caseload of at least 2 service-users – helping them to access community services, as well as work and education opportunities. With a big focus on supporting them to become independent and to recover.
As well as delivering a risk assessment and setting up a support plan.
Salary and hours of work
The salary is £21,788.
37.5 hours per week. Typically Monday-Friday 9AM-5PM, although, flexibility is required to cover shifts when needed
You must have experience of working with people with mental health support needs. People who have previously worked as a Support Worker, Key Worker, Project Worker, Mental Health Support Worker, Youth Worker looking for a step-up would be a good match.
